Cross-Border Business Forum in Iasi, Romania

On October 28, 2014, Iasi City will host a Cross-Border Business Forum, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Forum is part of the project "Competitiveness enhancement through human synergy in the border region”.



Study visit to Poland. Polish-German cooperation in European cross-border projects

Local authorities and non-governmental institutions from Moldova had the opportunity to participate, during 14-19 September, to a study visit to the Polish-German cross-border region.



Trainings for small and medium enterprises in Iasi

Business Consulting Institute organizes in Iasi, during September 22-October 3, two training sessions for SMEs in the border region Romania-R. Moldova. BCI cooperates with the Center for Continuous Learning of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to accomplish this task.

The training sessions of the project „Competitiveness enhancement through human synergy in the border region” started this week. The first one, on economic competitiveness improvement through innovation and research, is held at Vadul lui Voda, during September 9-12.

This week started in Chisinau with an event which brought together businessmen from Romania, Ukraine and Moldova and representatives of national and local authorities, diplomatic institutions, development partners and civil society.

Ungheni becomes Moldova's first city with an European General Urban Plan

Ungheni is the first Moldovan city that developed a General Urban Plan (GUP) for the next 15 years according to European standards and it will be submitted for approval to local councilors in September this year. The GUP has concrete goals until 2030 and plans to attracts investments of over 1 billion lei, to double the number of jobs, and to ensure that 100% of the city inhabitants have access to quality drinking water and to sewage services, IPN reports.



Tourism cooperation in the Black Sea region, in a project supported by the European Union

The Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme offers an exceptional opportunity for Moldova, to learn from the experience of other countries in the region, in various fields, including tourism. In this context, Business Consulting Institute implements the project “Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region", funded by the European Union through this program and launched in January 2014.
