Transfer to Moldova of the Romanian entrepreneurs’ good practices

Within the IFAD Project, “Support the innovative use of remittance in productive rural investment”, during 4-7 April 2012, there has been organized a second visit of good practice transfer, to Iasi, for 17 entrepreneurs selected in this stage of the project.      


The visit, whose purpose was to share the Romanian experience in remittance investment, was the second of the 3 planned visits of Moldavian entrepreneurs - to 20 small farmers and business managers from Romania.    


During their visit, the entrepreneurs have had the opportunity to see:  

  • The orchard, the seed bed and field vegetable crops in Baltati Commune, Iasi County   
  • The bee garden in Miroslava, Iasi     
  • The Agricultural Chamber of Iasi County, where they have discussed about future projects    
  • The goat and sheep farms, a refrigerating storage and mechanical services in Trifesti Commune, Iasi County            
  • A bakery of the JSC PANIFCOM in Iasi Municipality.      


The Project ”Support the innovative use of remittance in productive rural investment” aims to develop  entrepreneurship and management capacities of returned migrants and remittance beneficiaries, in order to increase remittance investments.                  


It is financially supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and is implemented in the Republic of Moldova by Business Consulting Institute, in partnership with the Foundation for Economical Development and European Integration Iasi.
